@reflectingmonkey her lips are just exaggerated using artistic license.

@usher its the verticle lines crossing her lower lip that shows signs of dehydration, some people that have that when they don't drink enough those cracks bleed. like I bet Angelina Jolie's lips bleed sometimes.
