@letshavefun I'm sitting here crying like a baby about it. Lol I loved it! I like to imagine that the reaction he had in this is the one he might actually have to being able to see his life's work finally getting the true appreciation it deserves. It has touched so many lives and inspired so many since his time.
@DancingStarGoddess That is lovely, it affected my daughters and I in a similar way, it is how we too imagined how he might have reacted had he been able to experience that, some things have a way of affecting you on an emotional level, some music, some songs, and the first time I saw his artwork it "got" me
@letshavefun Absolutely. I identify with him quite a lot and have always loved and respected his works. Truthfully any artist I respect the struggle involved in it. We pour ourselves into it. I love a creative soul and to see people appreciate creativity in the world. I'm glad you enjoyed as well!
That puts together paintings which are not normally together (The Starry Night and Irises are owned by different institutions) and at yet another location (looks to be a combination of the Musée d'Orsay and the Louvre)...
