The notorious portrait of Marie-Antoinette by Louise Vigée Lebrun. The diaphanous muslin gave the impression she was dressed in her underwear rather than the regal robes a queen was supposed to wear.

wow, really? it looks like a dress to me.

i guess it is somewhat of a niche interest, famous female artists.
