These were the last two of a series of about five drawings I developed during high school art class. I wasn't happy with the first, second, or third, which contained different elements. I think the first contained the trunk of a tree. They ended up on the front fly cover and the back fly cover of my high school yearbook, respectively. As I recall, my art teacher put them in the yearbook because he said he was so impressed with the process I used to continually work and re-work my main idea. It was long, slow, slogging.
My art is music instead of visual but my inspiration just comes out of daily life and I just have to remember the ideas that come to my head whenever I'm inspired by something because I often forget them!
Its all over the place. Sometimes i see stuff that inspires me to do a different version of it, or they contain an idea that i want to apply to my own work .
Sometimes i want to draw ...but only get bits out, so i stop untill it comes back. (My daugher taught me this idea).
Sometimes i just copy stuff
Sometimes i dream it
Sometimes people ask me to do something for them.
Sometimes its just an inner desire that spills out.
