Have you ever eaten an aquatic mammal before ?

Like whale or walrus ?
DemureDeb · 56-60, F
I've eaten both while I lived on the northern coast of Alaska many years ago.

@AthrillatheHunt 38 degrees in August? Brrrrrrr..... Yes it is a trippy place
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@DemureDeb it sure was. I saw Arctic cotton growing . Thanks to the onshore breeze from both oceans (Arctic and Beaufort ) there’s no mosquitos in barrow .
DemureDeb · 56-60, F
@AthrillatheHunt I didn't know that there was such a thing as arctic cotton.
The locals joke about the mosquito being the state bird because they're so big.

I love animals
Since I was little
I loved watching animal documentaries particularly insects
Currently I’m intrigued by a channel called “ antscanada”

You should check it out

If you want to see the live birth of a whale

Just see me before vs during winter
Lmao

No, I've never been in a situation in which I'd have to, to survive. I hope I never will be.
DrWatson · 70-79, M
I had to stop and think about this. I don't believe I have.
SW-User
Not! I'm choking/gagging just thinking about it.
calicuz · 56-60, M
They sell Shark at a local Asian market here in KC. I used to buy it and cook it regularly when I lived closer to that market. It's really very good.

Not to my knowledge -- but who knows if some dolphin made it into my tuna fish at some time over the years. :(
