Is there an EXPERT on SPACE-ANIME from like the early or mid 80's???.. here?

Not an expert per se, but I know a thing or two... I know that back in the 1970's, there were anime series' such as Space Battleship Yamato and Space Pirate Captain Harlock, as well as the anime film, Galaxy Express 999. And in the 1980's, there were anime movies like Cyborg 009: Legend of the Super Galaxy and Space Pirate Captain Harlock: Arcadia of My Youth, and the anime series, Super Dimension Fortress Macross. Other films, series' O.A.V's (Original Animated Video's) of interest include Urusei Yatsura: Only You, Maris The Chojo, and Outlanders.

I watched the first episode of Gintama, it was meh
