@tindrummer Pretty close. Cambria is about 20 miles north of Morro Bay. There's a protected rookery there where they come in by the many thousands. Really cool to see.

@tindrummer Right on. You've got both of those things right there. When I backpack up that way I always stop at the Barn in Bridgeport. A great jumping off point to the Eastern Sierra which, IMO, is about as gorgeous as it gets. Happy Trails.
