what was the last sound you heard from a wild animal?

A few weeks ago I was in a parking lot and a grey fox came up to me looking for food. A few days later I heard it yapping in the distance. I call him Freddy the Freeloader.

@beermeplease I didn't have any food on me. He was kinda cute. Just standing about 3 feet from me looking at me with pleading eyes.
