Wildlife, eh?

So yesterday, i was in my garage to grab a bucket that i needed. I looked inside and found what appeared to be a dead bat😕.
My gf said she had heard some screeching a few days earlier. She thought it might be a squirrel yelling at her.
Anyway, the poor thing moved. So, i ran inside, warmed a towel in the microwave, got a little cafood, put it inside the warmed towel, with the food and left it be.
I checked a bit later and it had stretched itself out and lifted its head.
It being so cold, and it's hibernation being disrupted, i didn't have high hopes.
Three hours later i checked again.
It was gone! So was the food.
I am hoping it found its way to a proper spot to hunker down till spring. Then the mosquito hunting can begin🙂

How fortuitous for the little guy, that it is your garage he or she ended up in. I'm pretty sure a lot of people wouldn't have been as kind and caring.

I hope along with you, that the bat will be okay.

@Piper thank you, pipes.
Bats get such a bad rap.

@Carla Sadly true, like so many other animals people are either afraid of...or just dislike or hate because they don't find them "cute".

@Piper bats are adorable.
Look at that face...

I think they're adorable too, @Carla, even the ones that aren't quite as cute as that. 😊
