It was all serendipity!

The mouse is the prime example. In all my years going to that beach, I had never seen a mouse. I might have missed it, too. I was walking on the boardwalk, and was behind a dog-walker. She stopped to take a photo of the beach. I walked around her and her dog. Then I glanced over to see what she had photographed, when I saw the mouse! I whipped out my camera fast.

The butterflies and bees were pure serendipity, too! About an hour later, I was just about to get into my car to go home, when my gaze landed on those flowers. I stopped getting in my car, and shut the door. I just had to walk over and get a photo! Then, as I approached, I saw all the butterflies! So I just had to take photos of them, too! Then, as I was patiently waiting for a butterfly to land nearby for a close-up, I spied the bees! The bees did not care I was there. I could have touched them I was so close.
