@itsok speaking truuuuth… man, that must suck! Do you have a severe allergy? I find it so scary that people can be severely allergic to something as simple as peanuts/etc. it was one of my biggest fears for my kids. When I first introduced peanutbutter to them, I did it right outside the doctors office before a checkup (when they were tiny obviously)

@WaryWitchWandering thankfully it’s not severe or life threatening, it just makes me sick. Allergies are so scary!

@itsok I make my own dog food and put oats in it. They probably would, they eat anything lol

@JimboSaturn what else do you use? I used to make my own, lots of different variations over the years. Now my dog has to be on a prescription food (for her heart) but I still cook a piece of chicken in the air fryer and mix it in with her kibble for dinner.

@itsok It's not very scientific and varies with what I have but basically ground beef, sweet potatoes, carrots, apples, the broccoli stems that we don't eat, broccolli, oats, rice. Sometimes I add some leftovers (meat) that we have during the week.

I used to dry out egg shells and grind them for calcium but I got lazy.

@Bexsy she’s pretty careful while eating, but some days she’s so excited that I’m home that she starts bucking around her playpen before I can let her out, and she falls into her water bowls and gets it everywhere
