Well hell now my heart can beat a little faster

I always thought coming home late @ night that my only problems would be the deer that like to hang out and eat my rose bushes. Or the many criminals that we have in LR. But tonight i get home and there is a coyote in the street beside my driveway. My friend asked if he was aggressive towards me. 🤷‍♀️ Like how the fuck would i know? I chased the SOB down the street with my vehicle and twice he had the audacity to stop and turn around looking at me. Don't even try fucking with me cuz i will run over your ass. I've never seen any coyote in town even tho i live close to the river till this week. They don't seem to be afraid of humans. Earlier this week i seen one in the middle of an intersection late @ night and a couple of nights ago 2 in the parking lot @ work.

Thats pretty scary. They go after livestock too. I am fearful of them and we have tons. I just shake my head in disbelief at how the toursists are excited by them. Oh well. Sone people are weird.

@Fungirlmmm i thought he looked pretty scroungy. And my dog was in the house raising hell. He knew something was outside.

They run the alleyways in my city every night . Had a bobcat sitting on the corner of my fence last week . We had been at the farm for a few months and when when we came back home there were several rabbit carcasses in the flower bed.
SW-User
@TexChik well that sounds scary too.
We have lots of them where I live. Not usually a problem, but two of them charged me one night when I was walking the dog.
@SW-User that's a good idea.
SW-User
@BizSuitStacy i don't know enough about them to know if they would attack a big dog or not but i know my dog would go after him.
@SW-User Individual coyotes will attack small dogs. Packs will go after larger ones

Coyotes are like scavengers. Most of the time if you just yell at them or throw something they'll run away.
SW-User
@MrSmooTh see lol you just said most of the time. I dont want to be the exception to the other part of the time.
MrSmooTh · 31-35, M
@SW-User Nah the worst that'll happen is they found something really good to eat and they'll just straight up ignore you when you yell at them. Like if someone left like half a pizza or leftover meat in the trash.

They must be short of food if they are coming into town.
Alert animal control in your area
SW-User
@GJOFJ3 hope they aren't hunting human food 😳
Pretzel · 61-69, M
holy cow?
what part of the world are you in?
SW-User
@Pretzel lol. I live in the US. Maybe cuz im only a few blocks from the river. I get my fair share of wild animals. I heard today on the news they were warning people about the feral hogs being out of control.

We have the same trouble here with seagulls 🤣....be careful
SW-User
@GovanDUNNY oh Lord. Dont even mention seagulls to me. Or anything that flies. 🏃‍♀️
vetguy1991 · 51-55, M
Doesn't sound like he has a fear of humans
SW-User
@vetguy1991 i turned my bright lights on him and even honked my horn and he barely jumped. He was in no hurry to get off my street.
