If you can look you up your local animal rescue group they will have trappers that TNR the adults and kittens. The kittens can be fostered and adopted out. But step one is find your local cat rescue and talk to them.

@robertsnj One of them is being investigated for their facilities and that means no new intakes and the others will have more animals.

@cherokeepatti I think you are confusing a rescue group with a shelter. the rescue works with the local pound but is instead a lose group of volunteers who work out of their home.

if it is an adult cat they trap neuter release (TNR ) and put it back in your area fixed. If it is a kitten same thing but they may find a foster parent ---a resident nea by to adopt the animal for 4-6 weeks and as that person houses, in there personal residence the rescue group will take it to local pet supplies places, like PetSmart and try to adopt it out by putting it on display.

you google cat rescue and your zip code or cat rescue and your county and see who they are.

@robertsnj It doesn’t matter, they are all overflowing as it is. I don’t know any of them that will come out and set a trap. They’ll loan them out maybe, who knows.
