Ugly and deadly.

@Sojournersoul They pop up when you least expect it. Every once in a while I’ll turn the furniture over and polish with lemon spray, they hate that. Will find webs underneath old egg sacs too. They will nest in undisturbed places so it’s good to go through closets and other places they can hide.
@cherokeepatti I know. Never know when you will see one.

@Sojournersoul same with black widow spiders. I had to deal with many dozens of them while burning a pile of boards and then there was a rattlesnake as I got to the bottom of the pile. That was enough of that for one day. And the very reason I won’t let things pile up outside, this was a rental house in the country and the mess the previous tenant left behind.
@cherokeepatti Cant blame you for stopping, that would have been enough for me too.

@Sojournersoul When I came back the rattly-snake was gone. I kept that yard maintained well including outside of the fence to the road. My ex thought the city should mow it and tried to let it grow up. He was damned lazy that way and this was after I gave birth. I was mowing within 4 weeks because of that.
@cherokeepatti I see why he is your ex.

@Sojournersoul The first time I mowed after having the baby his father was driving past going home from work. He laid into the middle of him (later on because he was not at home then) and the next time he mowed the yard. Did a damn crappy job, probably on purpose. Like mowing a foot from the fences and not weed eating or anything. I was mowing it later on.
