They are fascinating tiny creatures. Their artistry sings. And their diligence. I admire how they create webs across doorways, outside objects like gates, barns, etc. I am not fond of the large yellow and black ones in meadows from my youth. And I set them free from my home. There are ones as large as hub caps in southern islands! *shudders* And Tarantulas are so mechanical in the way they move. Spiders. Amazing.

Our spiders are quite small in comparison to other countries.The false widow has been given a bad press here , it can bite and cause a bad reaction to some ,but none of ours are life threatening.

@Gossamerwings: The deadly black ones are quite small. They are not native here as we have such cold in winter. Yet, my son when he worked in a grocery store, he found them in the grapes from other countries. I look at their darkness and their eyes and I imagine malevolence. But I doubt it is so. They are just creatures...
