The thing is with spiders, if you dont hit them directly with wet insecticide they arent affected as they dont groom like other insects.
If you use the repellents that have been suggested, it would be most useful around the outside perimeter of your home. Once they are in and they arent killed by freshly applied poison, the repellents will just make them move.
Btw...non poisonous spiders are our friends🙂. They do a bang up job as pest control specialists.
