Do you have any proven ways to keep spiders out of your home? [I Hate Spiders]

I have a terrible phobia of them and freak out when they invade my home

you can try peppermint essential oil, it’s a natural repellent for spiders and other bugs😺

@poisonouscupcake thanks, I did see that earlier on when I googled spider repellents so it's definitely worth a try.

@Raine if you don’t like peppermint i’m pretty sure citrus does the same thing, also i am terrified of spiders too so normally if someone else is around i have them get it out of the house but if you’re alone i have a spider killing spray and normally just a few squirts gets them and it’s easy to do from a safe distance

@poisonouscupcake yes or use the vacuum cleaner. We mostly only see the huge hairy ones in September here when they come out to mate. Then they disappear by the first week of October.

@Raine thankfully my area doesn’t have a ton of bugs but once in a while we get scary ones, one time i had a centipede crawling on the wall next to me and i had a panic attack over it it was fucking huge😖
