Even the tiniest paws can hold the biggest attachments.....

@CelticGal They understand OUR language, and we have trouble understanding THEIRS.

@4meAndyou I saw this amazing clip on a girl that is self harming (hitting herself) with her fists because of some health issues she has. This service dog comes and takes a few punches but does not let lose and manages to calm her down and she just cries bitterly holding the service dog. It made me have tears

@CelticGal Well, those dogs are trained to be kind and caring toward their charges.

@CelticGal Oh, yes...now I see your point. Of course they do! Dogs in particular "adopt" humans so that the human becomes part of his or her "pack". Dog behavior toward their human pack members is absolutely amazing. The dogs will rescue their humans from fires, when they have heart attacks they will go and get help...SO many ways dogs KNOW what's going on, and become our heroes!

@4meAndyou Absolutely true. I am a dog person through and through. A dog, even if mistreated, will often defend their master despite being mistreated. They are not resentful like humans

@CelticGal Anyone who would mistreat a dog should be beaten themselves. MY dogs were like my children.

@4meAndyou I can only agree with you. I have absolutely no sympathy for anyone that mistreats an animal or a child. Those will feel my wrath if I ever come across someone like that.
