They are out and about now. Too dark last night to get a picture of the bear that was stalking us. So, here is a picture of one helping himself to breakfast I took last year.
I'm seeing more wildlife coming closer to the house with us being indoors more and not going out as much. Last year a bear raided our neighbors bee hives so we're not cutting dandelions this spring to give the hives a chance to recover.
@SageWanderer Every year since we have lived here, several bears.. each year come to pester us. Last year a mama bear and her three cubs hung out for awhile. They love eating birdseed and corn off the ground. We pull our feeders down at night now. I ask my husband not to mow down the dandelions this year already.. just for that reason. It's bees first feeding. I hope you are doing good. Take care!!!
@Echoing The bear or bears came close but no evidence they came in our yard. The deer hang out here more and the bird feeders get raided by them. We're still healthy and incidence of infections are still low here. Stay healthy and take care!🤗
@Peaches I used pans, banging them around, going outside and yelling, with a spot light on him...he just looks at me like I am a crazy human...lol... My husband looks at me in the same way too. 😳

@Echoing 😅 yeah, I hear they love to check bins at night. Yikesss.....I'd seen a baby bear who passed me by when I was at Lake Tahoe...and thankfully it didn't harm me....
