If you have a black cat.... Are they dumb?

I have 2 black cats and they are soooo dumb. Every time I meet someone who has a black cat, I ask if the cat is dumb and without fail, the answer is yes.

It's okay, they're so cute they don't need brain cells.

Dumb? Not hardly. My black cat, elderly as she is, was always sharp as a tack and still is at age 14. She's been a wonderful pet and friend for a long time. I wouldn't trade her for anything.

@Strapmaster maybe it's the breeding... One of mine was born a barn cat and the other's family tree is... Well... His father is also his brother....
