My friends keep chickens. Their daughter brought home about six baby chicks that a neighbor was going to destroy. Two of them ended up being roosters, but they don’t fight. They basically co-manage the hens. I also discovered that they don’t just crow in the morning. 🐓

@bijouxbroussard what!!!! not crowing is soooo interesting. one of the hens i really thought would grow up to he a rooster but she's at an age now where we should be able to tell and she still appears to be a girl. but i think she's just the masc of that group because she chased my littlest dog when i took him out with me once 😭
