I kiss my cat's fur and sometimes on the lips and my mother thinks it's disgusting.

My sister lets her dog lick her face, and even her mouth I've noticed, and my mother has no problem with that. WTF! 🙆‍♀️

Some people get really grossed out by animal kissing them, same with my dogs; my father in law would complain about that to my wife.
