If it's morally acceptable to kill animals for the sensory pleasure of eating meat, is it also ok to kill them for other sensory pleasures?

i.e. some people might enjoy hearing their screams or listening to the sound of the blood spurting out of their slit throats

Animals kill other animals for food... It's nature way... To kill them for pleasure i think is wrong... Many traditional cultures thank the animal the the gift they give... They show respect for its spirit

@ozgirl512 Can I kill you if I respect your spirit?

@BlueVeins I'd prefer it if you didn't

@ozgirl512 I think they would also prefer that. They don't even know about our cultural beliefs, let alone feel better about dying because of them.

@BlueVeins very true ... But i think it places a moral obligation on the hunter to respect the animal and take only what is necessary

@ozgirl512 Sure, if it's their only way of surviving, using as few animals as possible to absolute completion is the most morally sound way of goin' about it. But most of us here in the developed world don't need to eat meat to survive and be healthy, you know?
