If it's morally acceptable to kill animals for the sensory pleasure of eating meat, is it also ok to kill them for other sensory pleasures?

i.e. some people might enjoy hearing their screams or listening to the sound of the blood spurting out of their slit throats

It does happen in nature too you know.
Are you going to impose your morals on the animal kingdom?
BlueVeins · 22-25
@ozgirl512 The concept of morality doesn't really apply to non-human animals because they don't have moral philosophies (to anyone's knowledge).

@BlueVeins there's probably a weeks worth of debate in there lol

@BlueVeins not me!

@ozgirl512 A'ight, so that sorta implies that you don't want to hold humans & non-human animals to the same moral standards. Is that an accurate assessment?

@BlueVeins i think so... We supposedly have reason and intellect
BlueVeins · 22-25
@ozgirl512 Yes. I don't consider it practical to try and change the behavior of wild animals and stuff because they simply do not and cannot understand our concerns (& because almost all of them don't really have much of a choice). I do think it's worth reasoning with humans, since we're capable of considering the ethical implications of our actions and changing our behavior. Plus, most of us (who have internet access) aren't eating eat just to survive.
