If it’s wrong to kill animals, why is it OK to kill plants?

@LeopoldBloom Because most animals are sentient and plants are not.

@BlueVeins So if animals are raised humanely and are killed quickly without feeling any fear, what's the problem? Temple Grandin has come up with ways to do this.
