I'm not aware of people who kill animals for the sensory pleasure of eating meat. Meat tastes good as a result of evolution.

@Fukfacewillie You've never heard someone say they eat meat because it's delicious?

@BlueVeins Yes, but you're leaving out the eating food part. I've never heard a hunter say they kill animals for the sensory pleasure of tasting meat.
If someone only killed for the sensory pleasure and then like spit it out? Yeah, that would be wack.

@Fukfacewillie If people only ate meat for sustenance, then grocery stores that also sell a variety of plant foods wouldn't need to sell meat (in the quantities that they do).

@BlueVeins I'm not saying that, either. People eat meat for sustenance and they are motivated to do so in part because it tastes good. Seems pretty basic.

@Fukfacewillie Taste is a sensory pleasure. If people are eating animals for taste, then they are (through the supply chain), killing animals for sensory pleasure.

@BlueVeins Meat is delicious but if it had no sustenance I wouldn’t eat it. This seems pretty simple. 🤷♂️

@Fukfacewillie Well what if it had sustenance but had the same taste & texture as lentils?

@BlueVeins sounds good, but I’ll miss lentils.☺️
