Who let the dogs out!

But this one sure ain't no dog! I live near the city limits and this one was found taking a leisurely stroll for lunch across the street from my previous house.

This hawk insisted on right-of-way over his scraps until I managed to sneak by.

When these field critters get comfortable in your neighborhood like this they're not afraid of people anymore. Watch your house critters or they might become a snack.

I guess I'm 'that guy', alas. not aiming to be a jerk or anything, but what you're labeling a hawk is better identified as a buzzard. technically a turkey vulture, or a 'weak talon'd new world vulture'. theyre [mostly incorrectly] lumped into the 'birds of prey' group with hawks, but tend to be much larger than most hawks and stay pretty much focused on cleanup aspects on already dead things. not that you are incorrect with the overall thesis on pet danger, just not much from this guy.

just pointing out something I noticed. cool captures.
