Do you have any pets besides cats/dogs?

I really want a pet.

Need something to take care of besides myself, plants and a ...baby lol (I don't have a child)

I have a bird that likes to talk to me. It has free range of the house and when I make breakfast the bird flies over, sits on my head says 'morning' Followed by 'Whatcha doing'. When I get home from work it asks "Wheredja go'

@hippyjoe1955 I would love to see/hear a bird talk to me. I had parakeets as a kid. Too noisy and messy.
I may go the turtle route. I've had one before

@iamnikki I had a little turtle when I was a child. It was kind of cute but not a whole bunch of fun. It just kind of sat there. lol

@hippyjoe1955 the last one I had was around 10 years ago. I used to spin him on his shell like a spinning top. Then watch him run across the coffee table lol.
I'll be much nicer to this one, I promise

@iamnikki Poor Howard. (old Canadian kids TV show reference Razzle Dazzle that had a puppet named Howard the Turtle.)
