Atheism, which does not accept the existence of God, has two stages

"[T]here are two sorts of atheists. One sort claims that there is no deity; the other claims that there is no evidence that proves the existence of a deity. I belong to the latter group, because if I were to claim that no god exists, I would have to produce evidence to establish that claim, and I cannot."

@BlueSkyKing James Randi is not quite correct there; but he may not have understood the words' etymology hence definitions. He is right in explaining the competing claims, simply not in labelling them.
There is only one "sort" of Atheist, by definition - translating approximately as "No god".
Doubting the existence of a deity as it something that can be neither proved nor disproved, is Agnosticism. Not a "sort" of atheism.

In what religion?
You can't generalise anyway. I'm sure that is a sincere belief within one religion, possibly one sect, by you (or whoever you quoted it from) but its two-stage premise cannot possibly be applied to all atheists.
Further, the thread title is Agnosticism, not Atheism: quite different ideas.

I'm not reading that wall of text but I find your title to be very judgemental. Not accepting? Its not a matter of accepting or not. I am an atheïst because I haven't seen any empirical evidence for the existance of any God. Not because I refuse to accept such a thing.
