I Am Agnostic

I don't hate religious people. I have met really good people among them. I mean I am in love with a Christian person. I don't mind going to church or attending mass with him. I don't question his belief either. It's just I have different opinions about religions.

A guy told me once, that many fall for true Christians because of our love for people, and high values. However it creates problems in marriage when people are unequally yoked. Non Christians think it is a phase, but it is [i]not[/i] a phase. A true Christian becomes stronger and stronger unless the non Christian influences the Christian to abandon or decrease their faith. This in turn can create resentment by the Christian.

God says "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers"

God also says that the non Christian mate is "sanctified" by their Christian mate. I am not sure exactly what He means, but God cares for them special because of their Godly mate.

He also says that "The Godly can win their mates [i]without[/i] a word, by their Godly behavior"

@Carazaa I also know many 'true Christians' who rape kids and women. So I don't think it's the Christian values that attracts me. Lol

@JBird No true Christian is a rapist. When we are born again we are totally changed. Many call themselves Christians but the ones who are, will DO what Jesus says.

but to really be a true Christian ,you must be born again
Which means you have died to self and you are buried in Christ and His spirit lives in you

We are asked if we join ourselves to a whore ,do we think Christ partakes in that ? His spirit is not having part in that ,,and you are no longer buried in Christ

So no true Christian is raping anyone ,,they may say they are Gods and be as religious as they come ,but be none of His

You need to read what Christ will say to the Lord Lord church who will brag about their works ,,and He will say
"Depart you worker of iniquity ,,I never knew you "

@Allelse I had catholic and brethren friends. They're really sweet people. But their religion messed up their minds too much. It's sad how they harp about devils all the time. 😂

If you listen to Cardinal James Gibbons
the authority on all things Catholic
You will hear ,,a lot is wrong
but since the Pope says he's God on earth
He is infallible
Its not for a Catholic to question why
Its only for them to do or die ..and burn in hell

Depends more on how pious [b]he[/b] is and far your relationship will go, if you end up wanting to marry or have children. There has been much made of being “unevenly yoked”, especially when it comes to decisions about raising children.

@bijouxbroussard well as far as I know, he knows what he's doing. Like more of spiritual rather diving into bible. He's not Mormon or Jehovah's witnesses kind of Christian.

I am the only one in my family who is openly agnostic. Rest of my family is Christians but more liberal. Fortunately, my bf is the same. For children, he wants them to be both rational and Christians which I am okay with that.

Rational is not always first choice . Every impactful being in human history - be it Hitler, Gandhi, Trump or Jesus - was given their power by others.
