It is hard

My mom is a recovering drug addict and she frequently relates to me when I talk about alcohol and how hard it is and I look at her and I see that she’s really giving it up and I feel a little jealous like I don’t know sometimes if I can give it up forever.
Part of the reason why she gave it up was because of being unable to get it whereas mine is everywhere
