This is the truth

I won’t lie.
I will say it is hard especially when people talk about drinking and especially when it’s an alcoholic talking about drinking because I relate so well and it makes me want to run to that familiar comfort the same way.
But I’m really trying every day is another day that I fight it I don’t think I’m ever going to not crave it

This too, my friend, shall pass. I didn't think I would ever not have the cravings either, coming for me like a rabid dog. But eventually, they disolve. Next month will be thirteen years gone by for me, and they're gone. Completely.
