Drinking alcohol for the last time ever.

I woke up knowing that, and ironically saw sir Anthony Hopkins posting a video online today about today being his 50th anniversary of sobriety.

I already adore this man so much, I chose my male name to be Philip, like his (his full name is Philip Anthony Hopkins)

If that video isn't the universe giving me a sign, idk what to think.

@HowtoDestroyAngels I still need a relatively cheap hobby for the evenings, but I'm very determined to do this.

I'm stubborn and have told my sisters and friends that I will stay sober forever after new year. Being able to say I haven't had a drink since 2025 will be the biggest brag and reason to stay away from alcohol.

@ScreamingFox It almost killed me a year ago, but I wasn't ready at the time. It kept me sober 4 months, then I relapsed. But this time I'm as confident as back in 2012 when I started my 9 years of sobriety.

And this time I have a professional to talk to to help remind me why I need to stop.
