Daily alcohol drinkers, have you noticed a colour effect on tongue?

I don't drink as often as I used to, but when I did, I would notice my tongue becoming more grey or white. I learned the hard way frequent alcohol consumption will do that to you, among other things.

@Oldanglaisadverbs I didn't use one, but I stopped drinking so much and my tongue eventually healed on its own.
