I feel really bad about giving my alcoholic family member the cold shoulder :c

I know she's a pain in the @ss when she drinks, but I still hope she's doing okay

We're kinda living together at the moment, so it's hard to keep a distance without coming off as cold

But yeah, I'm worried that if this makes her feel worse then she will drink more.

And if she does quit drinking, I want her to do it for herself. Not me.

Kinda dunno what I should do

(other than move out... because it's easier said than done rn)

Giving a family member the cold shoulder can feel really heavy, especially when you care about their well-being. Living together makes it even trickier to find that balance between setting boundaries and showing support.
