What is a good way to kick drinking soda?

It is hard to avoid in restaurants - especially fast food places. Every beverage has sugar and/or high fructose corn syrup. You are lucky if there is unsweetened tea.

I do unsweetened Ice tea, but just drink water if that isn't an option. Most places here at least have it as an option. At home you could do seltzer water that way you still get the carbonation.

The way I kicked the habit was by simply not drinking it. I chose water, even in restaurants. The only way to do it is just to do it.

Have a stomach surgery where part of the restriction is no carbonation. Week three no soda.

Diet/no sugar soda is more or less how I kicked it back in the day. Now it's a mix of that, water, coffee, fruit juice if I want an actual sugar drink

Cordials? I like lime and tonic water.

@PatientlyWaiting25 tonic water has almost as much sweetener.

Drink water, detox yourself and then you won't crave it.

Seltzer water

Damn, that sucks, you can order mineral water or unsweetened tea at most places here.
