Sex addiction in the elderly.

Of course sex addiction can exist without any sex partner. It could even be only in one's head :). Is it harmful, or 'just one of those things'?

If a person with an addiction - apparently unable to quit some habit or other (smoking, masturbating, chewing one's nails ... ) - if that person eventually does quit, maybe it was wrong to call it an addiction in the first place.
