When I was 15 I had this dude over that I liked.

We were gonna "watch a movie".... 😏.

So...I toll' em our liv'in room TV was broke... Gonna... You know... Use the one in my room..

In retrospect he was raised right... Goes over to help my family out.... Fix it.

He turns it on... Wha'lah... Works.

We watched the movie in silence as he ate meatloaf my mom warmed up for him....

That's a sad sad tale to listen to, hear, and understand with empathy. If I had tried that, my Dad would have known better cause we only had a 10" B/W Flimmerkiste and no way I was gonna show that thing off.
