whiteboards are almost like DMs for everyone else to see. they can range from just random possible attempts to be helpful (like this is intended) to generally snide shittiness (which is often pretty rampant). this is kind of a hold over from the long ago days of EP which had a whiteboard as well. the general idea was a place to leave general, open, impersonal (e.g. nothing too crazy) for everyone to be able to find - think of a whiteboard just outside someone's dorm room, but possibly longer-lasting. it's also worth noting that you or anyone else can both delete from their whiteboard and/or turn it off entirely.
I figured it'd be easier to just leave a message showing you the way it works instead of answering your question in its thread.
