Making friends with nurse managers who would be potential supervisors can be very helpful. Most every job I've landed was due to knowing somebody in the organization, especially a boss.

You've chosen a field that's in high demand and is one of the best for continuing education. And your work will matter. Good on you. ;)

@ girl serendipity- Reality is painful, and the truth hearts. Nursing eats it's youg. I would look for something else. The work culture is vile. That is why I retired. I'm dirt poor now , but I'm happy and have peace. Lol.

the hands-on stuff is super interesting!!! the hard part is the textbook learning. i know it is important but it can be super dull and tedious. there are lots of exams and my mom has really high expectations for me to do well so there's that added pressure too!!!!!!

Don't give up . I finished nursing school 12 years ago and became an LVN . Finished my RN online . Went back to school and became a paramedic 2 years ago . I work full time as a paramedic on an ambulance and as an emergency room RN on weekends .

Just give it time girl. Make friends with the doctors

You will weather the storm and thunder through with a degree that will define the rest of your life. :)

do not worry it is like anything in life that is new once you have been doing this for a while and find your feet you will find it comes more natural just give it time nobody expects you to know everything

Oh wow! I know your pain. I had to quit because my ex wouldn't help with my kids. I didn't flunk out, Just had to stay home with them. My dream is to go back one day.

Getting your Bachelor's before starting work is great! More job opportuinties will be open to you. Now you are being smart!!!!!!!

After you get your nursing license . You ought to consider perusing your master . But only at your pace and when you're ready .

Those big bucks have to be earned by technical terminology being learned.
