WindOfAdolf Slavery existed since before Jesus Christ walked the earth.
Wow, this is really enlightening. Noted, thank you. Remind me to go over that, when we're not discussing the history of slavery in the USA, the civil war, and Jim Crow laws.
You're under the misconception that it always only had to do with color.
Really? Because I missed the part where I am under that misconception.
A typical rational fallacy.
You should probably look it up, because it means absolutely nothing, in relation to the context of my post.
The remainder of your post? You copied and pasted from a hate web site, that used a partial statement, from Wikepedia, which was lifted from somewhere else. Let me help you out a bit here and post the executive summary, from that same article that the paragraphs you posted here, are lifted from:
Politically and economically, blacks have made substantial strides in the post–civil rights era.
I don't know how statues could be construed as intimidation, especially since none of these figures were ever slave owners.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The educational system has failed you, and for that I apologize.
Jefferson Davis (he was the President of the Confederacy). He owned slaves, but to be fair, he only lynched those
"of vile temper, of low instincts, of base purpose" who would otherwise escape 'justice'Robert E. Lee: yes, he owned slaves, that he initially inherited from his mother, along with their descendants. His wife brought her slaves into the marriage.
Just about every Southern general, whose statue was used to intimidate, owned slaves. It's really sad, that someone over 25, would be this kind of statement. This is where I step off this conversation. Again, real sorry the educational system let you down, and now you're resorting to hate sites to feed your anger.
