So how long until Google, Amazon and Disney own everything and everyone? [I Want To Write My Random Thoughts And Feelings]

At this rate? I give it 50 years. No more nations. Just Disney. And you know what? It might not be so bad. Ever been to Disney World? They run a tight ship. Rare is it you hear of crime or hardship in "the happiest place on Earth."

@DukeOfEarle See? That's why Disney should replace the government. They identified a problem, created a contingency plan for it, and properly enforced it. That's more than our government is capable of doing.
@Madhatter Not to defend governments (I’ll be the last to do that!) but managing a company is a lot different from managing a country. If anything Disney is monopolizing the entertainment industry. If unchecked it will become one choice, one voice. No diversity. Marginalized, compartmentalized. Conform to our message or get kicked to the curb. That’s not a world I would want to live in.

@DukeOfEarle That's one way to look at it. Another is of unity and harmony. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is an example of what good that can do. Separated by Sony, Paramount, and Fox, the Avengers could never exist. Under one roof, we not only get the Avengers, but an ever-growing cast of characters. TV shows on Disney Plus that weave into the movies. It created something magical that would have made a very young me shake with excitement. Unity requires a lot of trust, but the rewards far outshine anything possible divided. Disney is kept honest because it is, in a sense, a democracy, wherein the people cast their votes with their wallet. When Disney missteps, we make sure they know it, and they always correct course.
Until they collapse under the weight of their own incompetence and are bought out by the Chinese.
