I Did It, Yay

I kept under my max allotment of calories for the day. I'm proud of myself and the discipline it takes. I allow myself a max of 1,000 calories a day. There are some days I allow 1,200 such as on holidays or special occasions. Today I managed to take in 679 calories total.

That’s too low. You’ll ruin your metabolism if you keep it up, plus you will be losing muscle as well as fat. That’s not good.

Good job. I know how insanely hard this is. As soon as you change your eating habits for the better, a friend or relative or spouse who should know better walks into your house with either a pizza with all your favorite toppings on it or a box of your all time favorite doughnuts. And often these are the exact same people who lecture you about managing your weight.

@greenmountaingal Absolutely, we all have that one relative who always says something about how you look and then they proceed to lay on the fattening foods practically force feeding you.

That may not cause a weight loss defecit but instead starvation mode and hold onto any fat you might have and start to eat your muscle .

That's too low , S...that amount is a starvation diet. 😕 Your body needs more fuel and nutrients...

That seems too low. It's possible to go too low.
