I Battle Depression and Anxiety

Depression has been the basis on my existence since I was born. My life is/was always depressing. Never had much luck in anything and it doesn't get any better. When is this going to be over? I'm really sick of all the bad luck I have to endure from MY freak life.

Sorry, I know from all too much experience how difficult this can be. I was taught not to focus on every day, but to just merely live each moment in life. When not focusing on the past or looking into the unknown future life is a lot more peaceful. Sorry if this sounds like a bad fortune cookie, I'm just trying to share something that has helped me. Please remember that there are plenty of people out there willing to listen if you need a kind ear. I listen because without a person who was there for me a long time ago, I wouldn't have become the stronger person I am. Hang in there, it will get better :)

I wish you the best, my friend :)

Depending on what has caused your depression in the past and what brings it about in the present, I'd say it's worth looking to confront that and explore it with someone to get a fresh perspective and develop ways in which to combat the triggers.
An important thing is to recognise that no matter what depression you're experiencing, it will eventually lift and give you an opportunity to do something about it. While experiencing depression, it often feels like we've always been that way, when the reality is that we have had plenty of moments where we were free of it; it's just being able to remember those moments.

I have suffered from depression most of my adult life. At times I thought that my life would never get any better which caused even more depression. Life brought me the chance to enter therapy and a couple of years after in I have a lot less depression and when I am in depression I don't stay in as long because I have learned new tools. I hope this helped!!

Your life will only change, when you make choices that serve your peace and well-being. There may be other factors, as well. Lack of vitamin B-12 causes depression. Further, it's best to let go of toxic people in your life. Something I made up during a very hard time in my life, has gotten me through life. It's this: Never let yesterday, steal joy from today.
