I Have Plantar Fasciitis

Ever have Plantar Fascitis in your foot. I’ve had mine since mid December. It’s extremely painful to walk. I’ve seen doing everything the Podiatrist has told me and it’s still not any better. Any suggestions?

i have it now. i've had it since October 2016. i've tried cortisone injections, acupuncture, dry needle therapy, massage, physical therapy, nightly ice baths, tape, custom made orthotics. night splints, massage tools, and complete rest. nothing has worked. my last cortisone injection helped and for about 3 months i was completely pain free. i stayed off it for a month and then gradually started jog/walking but then it came back. aside from taking more injections (i've had 4 already) the only thing left is surgery.

@blindbob I’m starting to think surgery is needed as nothing else seems to work. I haven’t been able to walk my dogs lately because it hurts so much. Tired of it

@clamenza you know if you keep getting the cortisone injections the fascia will break down, but my podiatrist says it would actually help with the pain bc it would be the same effect as the surgery. i had a surgery like that on my hip flexor a few years ago bc it was too tight and my hip was snapping and catching. i guess it's the same mechanics.
@blindbob before you do anything at least try the grape seed extract. 12 drops on the bottom of the foot...as needed.
