I Have Strict Parents

They can be SO annoying omg

Just remember they love you...probably a LOT, even though that isn't always apparent to the casual observer. If it came down to a choice between your life and theirs they would jump in front of a bullet for you, and they are probably the only people on earth who will love you as long as they live, no matter what.

Are they being wise to be so strict? It's hard to say without knowing the circumstances, but remember that rebellion does not always lead you into a safe or a good place. (Speaking from experience).

Sometimes strict parents can be a very good thing because it gives you the opportunity to learn to be aware and be careful and cautious. It's a pretty mean world out there. Sometimes being strict can be too much because if you overprotect then they are more apt to explore. Parenting is not for the squeamish it is a delicate balance that is very easily easily swayed one way or another. Give them some credit and I'm sure if you asked questions in an adult intelligent calm manner you will get answers to at least some of them. And I will say sometimes parenting is done by gut feelings and by the seat of your pants thoughts
