Having no kids might seem that I should disqualified myself.
Yet at one time I donated a good deal of money to two different families plus a few other occasions.
One family was in bad need of both clothes and school supplies. The other family was behind in bills of all kinds.
Both where on going situations even if the reasons were both different.
So does it get easier? 😁
There's always something else! 🤷♂️😊

It does get easier once they grow up. One of my sons was really good at sports but he constantly changed the sport he wanted to play so I had to buy him different sport gear 2 or 3 times every year. Sports are good for kids because it keeps them fit and out of getting in trouble so look at the money you spend on them for sports as an investment. Cheers and happy weekend!
Both my daughters have played hockey and soccer... all at the same time. It’s easier and cheaper to outfit them with soccer gear.

I don't know about easier, but from a future memory, it doesn't get much better than that.
