Sad news, for sure. Not just because she was such a fighter in all she's had to face personally...but well, just because.
BAD, terrible news, for reasons many of us recognize and agree on.

2020 just keeps screwing with us. Now McConnell will push through a nominee before the election. This is the same McConnell that would not hold hearings in 2016 for an Obama nominee because of impending election.
I hope Trump nominates Cotton and pisses off every independent.

@FrosinStjarna I’m not allowed to be upset and angry that some people are celebrating the death of somebody I admired?
When McCain died, I (and most people who agree with me) did not celebrate. I disagreed with almost all his opinions, but I didn’t rejoice at his death. In fact, I expressed sorrow for his family.
When Trump dies (and he will eventually; nobody is immortal), I’m already planning my behavior around that event: I will not say one word, just remain silent. He has kids, and I know what it’s like to lose a parent.
But I wish I hadn’t gone on any social media tonight; I’m seeing truly repellant remarks from the right. They obviously don’t care that RBG’s family is sad tonight.

I'm sad she died, although apparently she was in pain. But, this, more than anything, will mobilize even more people to vote and vote against Sleepy Baby-trump.
Rutterman · 46-50, M
Terrible news indeed. May she rest in eternal peace. 🥀

I may be wrong but I think that probably will not be until 2021. @BlueVeins
BlueVeins · 22-25
@DukeOfEarle Last time this happened, Republicans refused to vote on a nominee for like a year, but that's only like, legal-ish, so we'll just have to see what happens...
DukeOfEarle · M
Ah, right. @BlueVeins
