Yes. I spend a lot of logic energy countering the emotional narrative. It wears me out.

The world sees me much different than I really am

I used to, I couldn't look people in the eye. I thought they would see right through me and know all my secrets. For years I wore a baseball cap everywhere so I could hide my eyes.

Nowadays, I don't fear it. I don't want it just like I don't want people in my house, I don't want people seeing the result and making all kinds of theories as to why I see myself that way.

Nope not anymore and even when I did they saw the opposite of what I saw which I am now able to see for myself

That particularly part of me are the only time I play cards, and those I play very close to my chest. But no...I came to the realization some time ago that you can't control how you're perceived, so....why torture yourself over things beyond your control. Besides, those "others" I have relationships with are people who are fine with who I am. Why would anyone subject themself to anything else?
