Please respond respectfully each day with a reason you are grateful to God or to your own highest power.

My own reason to be thankful, today, is that God gave me a reasoning mind! For that, I am going to pray and give thanks to God.

Today, I figured out how to make a wrist compression sleeve from tube socks. ☺️ Four pair of them arrived today from Ebay.

That means I can wear a clean wrist compression sleeve every single day! I cut off the ribbed striped area first, cut off the toe, and cut a slit for my thumb about 2" down on the left. After sliding my wrist and arm into the sleeve, and putting my thumb into the thumb slit, I was able to slide the ribbed striped area that I first cut off directly onto my aching wrist! The compression is really helping....and this is only one of many reasons I have to be grateful.

Please create your own journal here, or a diary of gratitude, if you will.

Remember to give thanks to God every single day for his gifts, even if they are the smallest of things.

This morning, I am grateful to God for the people who have passed from our lives. They have enriched the lives of those all around them, and they have performed so many small acts of love that we mourn their passing very deeply. We mourn for ourselves, selfishly, because we are now bereft of their smiles, and their voices, and their companionship, and we will always love them. Their spirits are now free, and soar with the angels.

We would live in such poverty of spirit if we had never known them, and their presence was a great blessing, and that blessing came from God.
